Process

Nvidia has an internal EDA/CAD tool development group.

I received a call from a recruiter who described the work and asked if I was available for an interview. I agreed.

I had my first telephonic round with the manager of the CAD group. The main focus was on netlist designing, traversals, and some other data structures/algorithms.

Then, I had a second telephonic round with a senior engineer from Santa Clara. The focus was again on netlist structure and related problems and solutions.

Thereafter, I was called for an in-person (F2F) round in Bangalore. I had four rounds there.

The first two rounds were technical, where problems related to data structures and algorithms were asked.

After lunch, the third round focused on puzzles.

Finally, the fourth round was a technical discussion with the manager. We discussed the profile, work requirements, and company aspects. He also discussed my candidature and past work experience. The discussion concluded with a mutual discussion around our respective requirements.

After that, HR informed me they would extend an offer in a few days.

Around a week later, I received the compensation breakup and the offer.
