I received a cold call from an aggressive recruiter.
I wasn't actively looking, but I agreed to come in and talk.
I spoke with the manager of all hiring managers, who handles the initial screening process.
We discussed my current role and some of the opportunities at the company. Even though I'm happy in my current job, I am concerned about this economy, so I was willing to explore possibilities.
Ultimately, we concluded that I might be a good fit for the systems group. However, they didn't have any current openings, so we parted ways and agreed to keep in touch.
I connected with the manager on LinkedIn, and that was the extent of it.
