Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Santa Ana, California

April 1, 2022
Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The recruiter was very disorganized and unprofessional. They would schedule an interview and then cancel it last minute, only to reschedule two weeks later without providing transparency.

I initially thought the negative reviews wouldn't apply to me, but they turned out to be accurate depictions of NVIDIA's interview process.

I completed 10 long interviews over eight weeks, plus a take-home assignment, before receiving no offer or any feedback for my time.

Despite interviewing top talent, NVIDIA shows no respect for interviewees' time and plays games with them, unlike any FAANG company.

It's not a serious hiring process, and the recruiters are very sloppy. I truly regret wasting my time and should have declined after the first red flag. However, I proceeded with the interview process because the recruiter invited me multiple times for this position.

Questions

I also interviewed with the entire team, one at a time. Some asked questions that were very unrelated to the position and just improvised.

All went very well, which is why I had to do ten of them. They are looking for perfection.
