Silicon Validation Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

The interview was pretty standard: explanation of interest in the company/the specific position, explanation of certain parts of resume, etc., and then segued into more technical questions regarding programming and computer systems, as well as some general problem-solving questions. Overall, my interviewer made it easy to feel comfortable while being interviewed, but of course, your mileage may vary. Was called back for a second-round interview, but was then notified within 24 hours that they had already selected somebody for the position, which isn't exactly a great reflection on coordination between HR and hiring managers, as well as with HR itself.
