Interviews consist of three rounds.
The first two are very technical, with a focus on computer architecture (instruction lifetime, virtual addresses, endianness).
The last round is longer, i.e., 4-6 hours. I had not done the 4-6 hour one when I wrote this.
Describe how an instruction flows in the datapath, focusing on the pipeline stages: Fetch, Decode, Execute, Memory, and Write-back.
Discuss data hazards, specifically Register-after-Write (RAW).
Explain endianness.
Describe virtual addresses, page walks, and instruction translation, including how the Translation Lookaside Buffer (TLB) works.
