I was contacted by HR via email two days after applying. A phone interview was scheduled for that week, during which I was asked about my resume and how I would tackle a problem they are facing.

Four days later, HR contacted me about a second phone interview, which is scheduled for today. I will update as things progress.

Pros: 1. Chance to grow in the company, with a lot of knowledgeable people, especially in Systems SW. 2. Decent compensation and benefits. 3. Working on cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning, which will be the future.

Cons: 1. Work-life balance might get screwed up a bit during hardware releases, but I think that's the case during the release period for any company. 2. Benefits can be a bit better matched to competitors such as Google, FB, etc.
