First, on a phone screen, I was asked about a Dynamic Programming problem. The scenario presented was a list containing some numbers, all less than 10 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...). The exact number of elements in the list was unknown. The question was how to find the biggest one.
After I finished that, the interviewer tried to increase the difficulty. For example, they asked what if there were more than 100 numbers in the list, or what if the numbers were defined as integers, and how I would handle numbers larger than the integer limit. It seemed like they wanted to continue asking questions until I could no longer provide an answer.
