The interview started with a short introduction about the company and the role. Then I was given a coding question to solve in C++.
After completing the coding task, the interviewer asked follow-up questions about my solution, including its time complexity, possible optimizations, and edge cases. There was also a discussion about my approach and the reasoning behind my design decisions.
I was given an array of strings and an array of characters. For each string, I had to count how many characters from the given character array appeared in that string.
If the total number of matching characters was even, I returned the string unchanged. If the total number of matching characters was odd, I reversed the string.
The final output was a new array of strings containing either the original string or its reversed version, depending on the number of matching characters.
