If you are not disciplined, then work-life balance is screwed. There could be big disparity in salaries; fair compensation need not be a concern for the company. Look out for managers ready to stab in the name of culture. There are no skip levels, and feedback always flows downwards. So, if you are in a position of power, you can screw your reportees, smile to top management, and still walk away with a fat paycheck.
