The company as a whole really does care about the employees. If you want to be a lifer there, it's probably the closest thing there is in high-end tech.
It really depends on the team, but some teams are really slow and made up of people who are content for good reasons. I was on one of the slower ones, and it turns out that it was not what I wanted.
