Most of the team members worked in the US, which required me to work in the evenings sometimes. There was very poor organization within my team. There was no redundancy in the team; only one person who implemented some algorithms knew how they worked. There was no documentation and the code was of poor quality. Communication with the team wasn't very good. My mentor was sometimes unresponsive. I worked remotely from home and often there weren't many opportunities to discuss stuff or ask a quick question to team members.
