Huge disconnect between companies' recruiting team and the actual position.
I spoke with the recruiter first about an SE position. They set up a call with an SSE later. When I got to that interview, I was told that they were looking for someone almost at the Senior level in terms of experience and able to assist the SSE in setting up a new team.
After getting rejected, I asked the recruiter again about what happened to the SE role I applied for. I didn't get any response.
