Process

I attempted to apply online but had no success with three different web browsers on two platforms. I called HR directly and applied by e-mail.

I was informed of their five-step interview process:

  • Online (psychometric?) assessment: This timed test had three minutes per question and was at times quite difficult due to incomplete information. It was scored out of five, and they proceed with candidates who score 3.6 or better.
  • C++ (98) technical test: I had to answer six questions presented in a Word document, directly into the Word document.
  • HR interview: This was a one-hour one-to-one interview.
  • Technical interview: This was a two-hour interview with two senior team leads. The task was to "Design a subsystem for our trading infrastructure." Notes taken appeared to reflect the timings of my 'revelations.'

After this point, I was informed that they would not be taking my application any further.

  • Final interview: This involved management and HR.
