The interview consisted of an initial HR call, followed by an online HackerRank test that could be completed within 72 hours. It took me about 3 hours to complete.
After submitting the test, I was invited onsite.
The first part was a coding problem, followed by a design coding problem done at the whiteboard. I then had lunch onsite with two engineers. This was followed by my online test analysis, also at the whiteboard. I missed a couple of test cases.
It concluded with a Q&A session with the CTO.
All interviewers were very smart and polite.
Now for the negatives: The technology stack is very old (C with some C#), so your resume will look obsolete after working here. Some developers use Vim for code editing and had no clue about some of the latest technologies. I felt it would be hard to introduce anything new to that environment.
They have an onsite cafeteria, but the quality of the food left much to be desired.
The office is very far from Union Station, so commuting from the suburbs is problematic.
Overall, it looked like they are super selective, so the chances of getting an offer are close to being accepted to Harvard University.
