The interview process began with HR and OA, followed by an onsite interview that involved four different interviews.
It wasn't too bad, but it was quite different from most interviews.
I would interview here again because it's not just LeetCode; it's more of a tech conversation.

Pros: 1. Amazing history of developing systems and solving problems. You touch and own a lot of projects that were really creative and tell a story.
2. Interesting work and its diversity, from being close to research and trading to being a full systems developer.
3. Amazing people and a lack of documentation makes you keep talking to them a lot and learning from them directly.
4. Great pay, perks like free food, great office outings, etc.
Cons: 1. Possibly longer work hours
2. Some lock-in to Optiver specific technology and setup

Pros: Compensated well, working with very talented people and well-designed systems. Nice office, lots of perks.
Cons: It wasn't a very supportive environment. It didn't really need to be, since they compensate so well. Autonomy was highly expected; positive feedback was optional. I worked an average of 49 hours a week.
