Applications Engineer Interview Experience - Hyderābād, India
Process
One of my friends got a call from Oracle. As he was unable to attend the interview, he forwarded it to me.
Had 3 rounds of interview, totaling 6 hours:
- 1st round (approx. 2 hours): All technical – SQL queries, puzzles, Oracle PL/SQL concepts, etc.
- 2nd round (approx. 2 hours): In-depth algorithms and programming, and discussion of previous job nature.
- 3rd round (approx. 1 hour): A manager interviewed me, asking puzzles and other HR-related queries.
Questions
Scenario given: Payroll is running in a PL/SQL code block. In parallel, all bonuses must be updated without touching the existing session.
Algorithm to print all possible words from a set of letters and mark the palindromes.
