Pros: I worked there almost 15-20 years ago (system doesn't let me choose older dates), and they were the first one whose motto was "Work from anywhere as long as you complete it on time". They were the first company who opened a second office in the city just because they didn't want their employees to lose time in the traffic, which was causing approx. 4-5 hours daily on route. This resulted in employees holding on to their jobs and working even more.

Cons: There are lots of resources, but you are mostly on your own. This might be a challenge at first, but it lets you thrive.

Pros: There is no hierarchy, supporting employees to invest in themselves.

Cons: Salary is lower than the average market level. Consultancy is not the first priority of Oracle. The presales and sales teams are willing to work with partners rather than the internal consultant teams.

Pros: Oracle University Health insurance covers the entire family.

Cons: Salary significantly below market rate. They would rather hire Moroccans for free than pay market rates in Turkey. You are forced to be in a Zoom meeting 24/7 with overworked Indians. They force you to attend meetings till 9 PM twice a week for no pay. A more appropriate job title for this position would be "Jira administrator", not "DevOps engineer". You will not learn anything about Oracle technologies in this position. You are simply an NPC, a cog in the wheel, managing Jira tickets. No yemek kart. Normally, I would say "remote work" is a pro, but they use remote work as an excuse to overwork their employees. At least if we came to the office, we could leave as soon as the clock strikes 6 PM. They make you leave your VPN on the entire day so they can monitor you. You will rarely have time for a lunch break.
