The first round was a telephonic round, which was okay.

Then, there were two face-to-face interviews at the Noida office.

They were not sure what they were looking for.

For 15 minutes, the interviewer argued why cloud deployment is necessary. Now, who will tell him that it's to minimize infrastructure costs, reduce development time, require minimal maintenance resources, enable scaling, provide HA, and so on? Only God knows what he wants to hear.

Questions asked were more like overloading and hashmap. The interviewer was not interested in listening to the answers; he was just trying to portray himself as if he were the creator of Java.

For 15 minutes, he was asking me about priority queues. Until the end, I couldn't figure out if he wanted me to code a priority queue with data structure logic or implement it using Java's java.util.PriorityQueue as an example.

He was also very poor in communication, not able to explain the questions properly.

The second interviewer seemed to have 3-4 years of experience and was stuck on Spring's @PostConstruct implementation – how you would implement your own. "Gurrr.. how can one remember all of Spring's core internal implementations?"

In short, both individuals seemed very immature in conducting interviews for any senior candidate.

They should ask some design questions, some architectural questions.

It seems they are not doing any new work, like cloud computing or big data technologies.

Don't waste your time in this boring company.
