Quality Assurance Engineer Interview Experience - Noida, India

Process

The interview process consisted of three rounds:

  • Two telephonic interviews
  • One in-person interview with a director

I received a call from the recruiter, and the first round was scheduled within a week. Three days later, I was informed that I had cleared the first round. The second round was with a US manager. The interview was scheduled for a specific time, but the result was communicated after a week, and I was asked to come for an in-person interview. During the in-person meeting, formal questions were asked, and it lasted about 30 minutes.

After 20-25 days, I received an offer letter. However, I was disappointed because the package discussed throughout the initial process was not mentioned in the offer letter. The recruiter then argued, stating that this was the package we had both agreed upon.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience with a company of such renown.

Questions

1st round: Questions on QTP, VB scripting, and descriptive programming were asked. The interviewer was quite supportive.

2nd round: Manual testing questions were asked.

3rd round: This was a behavioral and HR round, though it was a director round.
