Cons: Mostly service-based work in India, which may not be value-added for those who are in the early stages of their careers.

Remote available, but few raises

Pros: Remote friendly. Hours are usually reasonable. Easy to transfer. I transferred twice and finally got on a team I wanted.
Cons: Few, if any, raises are ever given in a lot of teams. I know people who go five years with no raises. Lack of RSU refreshers.
There are good SRE jobs where you do real work, but many are tier 2 support runbook bunnies with no raises. Ask when interviewing.
Lots of smaller layoffs. You see them on Blind all the time, almost monthly. Oracle has always been like this.
