Pros: Nice locations. Good products that are orphaned. Some passionate employees (whoever is left). Great work-life balance. Man, you can fly below the radar and cruise for years. Just be sure you are pleasing your boss with a small win every 4-5 months.

Cons: Biggest shareholder scam in decades. The number of people leaving is not even funny. In some technologies, pretty much everybody who knew anything about the product is gone. Every day you go to work, they are looking at you and wondering how much money they would save if someone in India, China, or Romania was doing that job. Quality does not matter; people don't matter. I understand the money part, but it's too short-sighted in my opinion. Sure was glad to get out of that place.

Pros: Get to work on the latest technologies. Nice work environment and perks.

Cons: Nothing I can remember.

Pros: My manager and team were absolutely the most skilled set of automation specialists across Oracle. It was a pleasure working with them, and the atmosphere was truly outstanding.

Cons: I was skilled enough to work in fields outside the scope of my original job title. Although my abilities were recognized, all my manager's requests for promotions within my part of the organization were declined repeatedly.
