Interesting, Great Learning Environment, Lacks Social Aspects
Software Engineer Intern • Current Employee
Dublin, Dublin, Ireland
April 2, 2012
Pros: Great working and learning environment, with a real opportunity for personal development. If you want it, no one will shout at you for doing the bare minimum; it's up to you what you decide to spend your time doing.
Cons: Within my team, there was a distinct lack of social activities. More team-building exercises and events would help.
There is also a slow corporate process involved in doing anything, from hiring new staff to requesting a wrist-support mouse mat. It is a waste of time and usually results in staff being unhappy.

Helpful Culture, Felt Disrespected
Software Engineer Intern • Current Employee
Seattle, Washington, United States
September 5, 2021
Pros: Absolutely wonderful work environment. Necessary sick days were encouraged for interns, and vacations were encouraged for full-time workers. I almost always felt a culture of helpfulness.
Cons: I felt disrespected and talked over multiple times. I wonder if my gender played a role in that.
