Software Engineer Interview Experience - Mexico

Process

I received a call from a recruiter who obtained my contact information from my university's Computer Science Department.

There were three interviewers on-site, each representing a different team. Each interviewer presented me with two coding questions. The questions were fairly standard and considered easy, but I went unprepared and consequently failed the third interviewer's questions, despite their perceived simplicity.

Questions

  1. Identify a loop in a linked list.
  2. Level-by-level traversal of a tree.
  3. Design an object-oriented class.
  4. Sorting questions.
  5. C++ language questions (and compiler-related).
