Me: I told him a VLSI-related answer.
Interviewer: That means you favor VLSI-related work. So why do you want to join the IT sector?
Me: Sir, currently in India, 60% of the market is captured by the banking and IT sectors. The IT sector mainly undertakes projects in the banking sector. I think if I go into the IT sector, I can fulfill my goal, i.e., I can be a part of reputed IT sector projects, and also get a chance to go abroad.
Interviewer: Why ECE?
Me: In our HS physics, we had just an introduction to electronics and semiconductors. I found the subject very interesting and wanted to know more. My parents and teachers told me that I could go into either the software or hardware industry, which is why I chose ECE.

Int: Why don't you mention your academics and family background in your introduction?
