Process
The interview was entirely focused on my projects listed on the resume, along with a few basic computer architecture concepts. I was asked about:
- Cache coherence
- Branch predictors
- Memory consistency
- Out-of-order execution (Tomasulo Algorithm)
There were 7 rounds, each lasting 1 hour, from 10 am to 5 pm. Only one interviewer asked puzzles; all other rounds were technical.

Pros: Earlier (before 2016), Oracle was a pretty good company to work in.
* Less work tension
* Less work
* Lawyers are good (immigration-related)
Cons: 1. Not interesting work.
2. Bonus and promotions are hard to come by.
3. Offices are old; no food, just coffee and beverages in cafes.
4. Massive layoffs in recent months and more to come.
5. Some very arrogant upper management employees (especially the current Java Architect!)
