I had a strong background in ML. Therefore, it was a straightforward interview with ML questions.

The experience was very good as the interviewer was friendly and encouraged me to come to the right answer, which I did.

Search algorithm between similar kinds of text messages. I used a similarity-based approach using KL divergence or cosine similarity. I also mentioned that simple pattern matching can be used if the messages are taking values from a database.
