People have a good attitude, and I have met some technically very sound guys here.
Not much politics among co-workers (Developers). I can't say the same for managers.
If you are good at "self-motivation," then it's like extended school. Online library subscriptions will help you in all the ways if you want to learn newer things.
Salary hikes and growth: Man, forget about it. It's better you work here for learning things and look for other possibilities in the industry. In this area, Oracle India is like government jobs. All are the same. Whether you work or sleep all the time.
The work profile is, I don't know, very crippled. After completely dedicating yourself to the work, it's like you are not gaining anything technically as a developer. Although it depends heavily on person to person.
I don't think it's going to change anything.
Many smart developers gave a lot to this place and finally left the company.
P.S. All the reviews are related to only Oracle India Pvt Ltd.
I had 3 rounds of telephonic interviews. HR contacted me for the interview. The first round was to solve some basic programming puzzles, with a few questions on Java and some queries to be written. The second round covered servlets, JNDI, and other
The interview process varies for each team. Each team hires for itself, so there is no single interview process across Oracle. The number of rounds varies according to the team.
Good experience. Had a written test followed by 3 technical rounds and 1 HR round. The written test had multiple-choice questions on aptitude, coding, computer fundamentals, etc. The technical rounds focused on coding and algorithms.
