Sun acquisition mishandled
If IBM had bought Sun, it would have been dismantled. At least Oracle attempted to extend and develop existing product lines.
As a software company, Oracle has no clue on how to market and sell hardware. They decimated the existing sales for my product line by destroying our Sun sales channels and laying off most of the technical sales support.
