Worse place in the world to work, a torture chamber
None, nada, nothing to speak of.
This place was worse than doing time in prison (or so I imagine).
My manager enjoyed placing me and two others on a performance improvement plan in pursuit of our dismissal rather than a genuine desire for improved performance. He seemed to enjoy punishing us.
Upper management needs to monitor management in their chain, as abuses do occur. The hands-off attitude of this company, paired with its non-transparency, can create situations of extreme corruption. There is no respect, whatsoever, for the individual contributor.
