Work from home. If you want to be an expert in politics and bootlicking, nothing precisely.
Favoritism. Each manager has his/her own favorite cronies. Hostile and toxic environment with some managers being ruthless. Most people who worked as contractors with Palerra, from the service industry, are made permanent and have spoiled the place. Recruitment is a joke here. A huge number of selective loyal people, mostly contractors, are brought in via a "got-up" and fake process so they remain quiet and loyal. No appraisal process. Cronies selectively get hikes/stocks from time to time for being loyal. For others, fake promises are made, and they are made to work until they leave. High attrition. If people are not bootlickers, they are bullied to leave. All tall claims by the senior director here in India have failed flat, and the product is hardly used by any customers. Teams only do maintenance jobs, and this is beautifully camouflaged by the senior director here as “important critical work to the business”. Consequently, there is a constant celebration of mediocrity, with claims of being startups within Enterprise, etc. Passable/run-of-the-mill engineering outcomes are celebrated wildly.
There were three rounds of interviews in total, and each stage went very well. **First Round:** Conducted with a Principal Engineer. This round focused primarily on my technical background, problem-solving approach, and understanding of core enginee
There were a lot of rounds. Most of them were silly. Once all rounds were done, the interviewer ghosted. This was a very bad experience overall. I do not recommend it for anyone. They only followed up during the interview process.
The interview process typically goes through 4-5 rounds. Of these, 2-3 will be technical rounds, and the last 2 will be managerial and HR. Make sure you know the basics of what you have worked on. Do not fake your CV; know what you have written in yo
