Some really good people. I had good luck with a manager who really concentrated on removing the blocks on our way and taking the load of dealing with management and politics. Good emphasis on work-life balance and support in personal circumstances.
Big bosses see only the next shareholder meeting and bottom line to report there. Nothing else matters on that level.
