Pros

Company bus service.

Nice food court in the Whitefield office only.

Big brand: Oracle.

Possible to get good BFSI exposure if you get into the product division.

Cons

If you get into product division,

  • You will work on ancient technologies.
  • You will get NO exposure to frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Struts, etc.).
  • Very few onsite opportunities.
  • Salary increments are few and far between.
  • Same with promotions.
  • Adherence to the appraisal process and cycle, and their results on salary, are ad hoc at best, non-existent at worst.
Advice to Management

Get your act together on the appraisal process front. Make it a real performance appraisal rather than the farce it is now.

In the name of publishing good quarterly results, stop punishing your employees. They are your only true asset.
