Pros

You get the name of Oracle added to your resume for your next job hunt.

Cons

Legacy technology stack. Hike is given like charity.

Slow in terms of adoption of new technology.

Worst work-life balance.

Service-based companies have better work-life balance.

Even the Executive VP once told that Oracle is a service-based organization.

Get to work with managers who know to boast about the Oracle customer base and the name "Oracle".

Most managers get work done by either threatening or scaring with the names of the Vice President of Engineering.

No respect for employees in India.

When you are leaving the company, they suddenly act concerned to just fill up some Excel sheets for justifying the employees leaving.

The managers are looking for ways to shift the blame on other teams.

Since the amount of work is unmanageable, they just act as being concerned for the customer but soon forget unless the customer escalates the issue to upper management.

Upper management is afraid of their managers. It's just a circle of fear which keeps the show running.

Advice to Management

Please be bold to say NO to customers.
