Managers are easy to talk to.
If you're looking to get a fair wage, it's not Cerner.
If you expect to be rewarded and compensated for great work, above and beyond the requirements of your job, it's not Cerner.
Seniority is rewarded over performance.
We were called in the morning at 9 AM. There were 3 to 4 rounds, and all were completed on the same day, which was good. There were many candidates, so for the first two rounds, interviewers were taking 2 candidates in parallel. Ample time was given
1 phone screening and 5 rounds of onsite interviews. Interviewers were kind but expected answers to the point. Phone screening: practice LeetCode coding. Onsite: * 1 system design round * 2 coding rounds * 1 hiring manager round * 1 bartender round
The process is very standard, like any interview process at a Bay Area tech company. It is all based on knowledge of algorithms, data structures, OOP, etc. I recommend reviewing programming problems you find online, such as on HackerRank or Codesign
