Looks good on the resume. The work/life balance is good. Benefits were good. All in all, looking back, I thought ORCL was a good company to work for. They give a fair severance package if you get laid off -- no company is forever these days.
Depends on what department you work in, but it's easy to get lost. Oracle buys so many companies that they just eat you up and forget about you, it seems. It's very easy to have your skills outdated if you work there too long. My department worked on legacy stuff, and it was very difficult to get another job with the skillset I had.
They seem to be doing well in this economy -- keep sailing straight ahead.

I applied for a Software Developer in C/C++ position online. After one month, I received a call from HR. There were two initial telephonic rounds, followed by a face-to-face interview. The face-to-face interview also included three technical rounds
I had four rounds of interviews, and most of the questions were technical. Confirmation was given at the end of the day. I was offered a one-month gap for joining after confirmation.
