Process

The interview process started for me with the Technical Lead of the team. This interview was a basic interview, with some basic technical knowledge and background questions. The lead was great at guiding the interview and kept it relaxed and conversational.

From there, the next interview was the onsite, which consisted of 3 interviews:

  1. Behavioral and cultural, with some basic high-level technical questions.
  2. Product manager interview: this was just figuring out how you work on a team, prioritize tasks, and understanding if you have a compatible development process with the company.
  3. A live coding task: there was a prompt, and I worked through the MVP features from a small existing codebase, and then there were stretch features as well.

All the interviews were conversational in style and made it very easy to see the great company culture and hear the current employees' honest opinions. Recruiters were also great at facilitating and creating a smooth interview process. If there was one thing I would change about the interview process, it would be adding Calendly links for scheduling.
