Product Quality Engineer Interview Experience - London, United Kingdom

Process

The interview process felt transactional, almost like interacting with a robot. It appeared they had flown in a group of interviewers from the US for a series of interviews conducted in London. Everything was highly structured, and the interviewers seemed rather bored and disengaged.

One aspect that particularly bothered me, having been raised in London, was the use of interview scenarios involving software to "track the movements/phone call chains" of individuals with names like Mohamed or Ahmad. This felt overtly discriminatory. I am not interested in working on software that is being developed with pre-existing bias embedded even at the interview stage.

Questions

Abstract questions like, "How would you test a contraption that teleports matter?"
