A recruiter got in touch with me. As a side note, I feel that Palantir has recently invested a lot of their recruiters' time to reach out to random people on LinkedIn or from their old application database.

The recruiter asked to set up a phone call so I could learn more about the role and they could get to know me better. It was such an annoying call. They want you to not like any other company you apply to; you should sound as if Palantir is the only one and your only true love. If you say anything, they go deeper and deeper into a dead end where you simply have no answers.

Bottom line, it was not a happy call, which I would normally expect from HR. I mean, you wanted me to talk to you, and then you act as if you want me to want you. There was no attempt from their side to convince me to want to work at Palantir.

In the end, you will probably be told that your interests and motivations are not a match, although your technical skills are good.
