First was a Codility test with three questions. They were easy, and I completed it in 30 minutes, though the allotted time was 1.5 hours.
Then I was invited to an interview at Palo Alto's office.
It was a one-hour interview with a friendly interviewer. The first question asked was: "Find if there are at least two files with the same content." I did well on this, but it felt like the position had already been filled. Towards the end, she asked another interviewer to join. He then asked a second question in the last ten minutes, related to parallel lines on a timeline. I believe I did well on this as well.
After a day, I received a call stating the position had already been taken and asking if I was interested in interviewing for another team (with two team leads).
The second interview was with the same person who interviewed me before. He is a nice guy. The second interviewer never showed up. He asked more questions related to threads and recursion. It was a good interview.
Two weeks have passed, and no one has reached out to me yet. I sent a message to the recruiter but received no response.
