Interview conducted in a super hot room with no circulation from 10:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Everyone of the interviewers was impersonal and typing on their computers the entire time.
Not a great process to interview any candidate, let alone a Manager.
No feedback on why I was rejected.

Pros: HAD a great culture & employees with tons of passion for the mission
Great mission
Charismatic CEO & a strong performance/presentation culture
Cons: They still use old employee photos and culture artifacts to lure new employees to a culture that is long gone
Ongoing deferral of critical technical work in favor of short-term product features
Repeated layoffs of highly trusted employees due to rash decision making and politics
Rotating leadership with ever-diminishing empathy & increasing politics over time

Pros: Great product, interesting work, valuable mission
Cons: The CEO has a deep mistrust of engineering and does not feel that they work hard enough no matter how many features you ship or bugs you fix. If you are not visible in the office you might as well not be working. Senior leadership is inexperienced and overreacts to trivial problems.
