I didn’t pass the second stage, but here’s what you might expect.
First, a phone screening with a recruiter to discuss the position and for you to talk about yourself. This serves to give you both an idea if this role, or maybe a different role, sounds appropriate at this point in time.
Then, a 45-minute technical interview.
Mine didn’t have to do with data structures or algorithms, but instead with mocking rate limiting in JavaScript, which I can’t say I’ve ever found myself needing to do. Needless to say, I didn’t solve the problem and needed guidance from the interviewer, who was very nice about everything.
