I went through a phone screen, then a few days later a 1-hour live coding session via Zoom.
The phone screen was typical: asking about my background, etc.
The technical interview could have been a better experience. During the first few minutes of our Zoom call, we introduced ourselves and briefly spoke about our backgrounds. When the interviewer asked about my background, he cut me off about a minute in to say he got the idea and we could move straight to the coding challenges. I found this pretty disrespectful, and it left a sour taste for the rest of the interview.
I figured out the first question fairly quickly. We then moved on to the next question. I didn't have enough time to finish the second question.
About an hour or two after I finished my coding session, I received an email stating they wouldn't move forward with my candidacy.
The first question was to implement an LRU cache. The second question was to merge intervals.
