Process
The recruiter was extremely friendly and kept me up to date with everything.
I had prepared for my technical interview with Person A, but due to last-minute changes, I was unable to make it. Consequently, I had to take my interview with Person B, which was my downfall.
I had heard Person A was extremely friendly and not too picky on the 30-minute time limit. However, Person B was quite the opposite – more or less a stickler. She kept interrupting me while I was answering questions and would have me cut my STAR method answers short due to "time limit constraints". Furthermore, during the technical aspects, she would question every single line of code and, again, interrupt my explanation process.

Pros: I have been with Paycom for many years and can share that it is an amazing place to work. I have been blessed to see it grow so much in my time here and truly believe it's just getting started.
The basics are all there: great people, fantastic benefits, the best leadership, etc.
Specifically speaking to the technology side, we have the best tech group out there. We are super close and are constantly focused on evolving ourselves and our processes to get better. The technologies we use are all current and relevant. Everyone here shares the same goals of improving the product and meeting the business needs of both Paycom and all of our users, and it is this focus that makes the common frictions in a tech group not exist here.
What means the most to me is the impact that I get to have on users. Not only do millions of users out in the world use our product every day, but so does every single Paycom employee. We have great channels for feedback and are able to make changes that impact the daily lives of so many people. If having an impact is something that drives you, no matter your skill set, you would be hard pressed to find a place to have more of it than at Paycom.

Great Company with Amazing Benefits and Opportunities to Grow

Pros: The benefits are great, offering $1 health insurance, $4 lunches, and flexible PTO and Sick Time Off. Paycom does a great job of creating a positive and engaging work environment. I feel valued as an individual contributor and able to engage my leaders with any questions that I may have.
Cons: Leadership styles are not consistent within individuals in management positions. It is a bit of a gamble being placed on a team that aligns with your leadership style.

Pros: - Excellent employee culture and benefits ($2/month health insurance)
- Successful company that often rewards employees for significant profits
- Very collaborative and friendly
Cons: As a dev, you'll be mostly limited in the languages and technologies you use.
Some disconnect with product management and development, which has created lots of frustration and time wasted.
