Pros: Solid benefits, amazing team leads, and coworkers.

Cons: Below average pay, horrible work-life balance, and no flexibility. Disgusting catered food from which people get food poisoning. Management runs the place like a dictatorship, firing great employees at will with no notice, even when they haven't done anything wrong. The company's goal has always been to exploit new grads and work them nonstop. You'll be put on projects with unrealistic deadlines because management can't plan accordingly. Decisions since the pandemic have been questionable at best and continue to get worse. There's a clear disconnection from upper management to the rest of the company. One of Paycom's core values is "We Care," which refers to caring about employees. If you look through reviews, you can tell that's clearly not the case.

Pros: Paycom is a decent place to work, with friendly people who help you grow. $4 lunch is good.

Cons: The workload is slightly on the higher side. However, a significant downside is that they use a monolithic architecture, and many modules were written decades ago. Additionally, they don't follow Agile practices. HR policies are very strict. You can't work from home on designated office days, must be in the office by 8 AM, and are required to wear formal attire, among other rules.

Pros: I thrived in a dynamic environment that fostered collaboration and innovation.

Cons: Everything is wonderful! No complaints.
