Pros: Solid benefits, amazing team leads, and coworkers.

Cons: Below average pay, horrible work-life balance, and no flexibility. Disgusting catered food from which people get food poisoning. Management runs the place like a dictatorship, firing great employees at will with no notice, even when they haven't done anything wrong. The company's goal has always been to exploit new grads and work them nonstop. You'll be put on projects with unrealistic deadlines because management can't plan accordingly. Decisions since the pandemic have been questionable at best and continue to get worse. There's a clear disconnection from upper management to the rest of the company. One of Paycom's core values is "We Care," which refers to caring about employees. If you look through reviews, you can tell that's clearly not the case.

Pros: They push for a good team culture.

Pros: After spending almost a decade in the military and a decade in the service industry, my first experience in the corporate world gave me the mindset shared by most Americans: that my job was just a necessary evil, an end to a means. My former employers seemed to do their best to wrench every ounce of work out of me with little regard for my professional development and well-being, short of how it affected their bottom line. With Paycom, I can honestly say they have shown me what a great employer can do to empower its workforce and inspire its workers to not only succeed but to be committed to their work, as they are rewarded as Paycom continues to rise.
