40-hour week in my case (though some teams have more overtime).
Work from home, except for one scheduled day per week. Your whole team goes in on the same day.
They have an in-house metric for calculating a developer's effort. This is used to occasionally award bonuses and to track progress towards the next Software Developer level. It seems to work decently well, and the minimums are easy to hit.
They are not generally very flexible about the 1 day in office per week. If you are sick enough on that day to possibly be contagious (the only exemption is for COVID), but not sick enough to, in my opinion, justify the use of a sick day, they will still make you come into the office and not allow you to WFH to keep everyone healthy, even though all your meetings are virtual anyways.
Working hours are fairly strictly from 8 AM to 5 PM. Some teams may differ, but that's the policy.
Be more flexible about where people work from, especially when people are clearly doing good work and have good outputs.
First, a recruiter will ask you hiring questions, and you will perform a technical quiz via HackerRank. If you pass the quiz, you will receive a technical interview. Finally, there will be a third behavioral interview.
The complete process consists of 3-4 rounds. There was a basic programming question on array/string manipulation. The HR round is pretty straightforward. Then, the next round had a simple system design question. The complete process takes 1.5 - 2 m
Regarding the technical interview: The interviewer seemed inattentive. He asked a couple of questions, then allowed me to ask him questions. This was followed by two multiple-choice questions on HackerRank. Finally, there was a coding problem. Whil
