Process

Two levels of interview:

Round 1: React and DSA questions. In React, some questions required filling in missing logic for given components. For DSA, I was asked the LRU cache problem.

Round 2: Design system. Questions started from DNS, security, CDN, cookie handling, and complete web application architecture from the browser to backend storage. This involved load balancers, caches, and data transfer mechanisms like WebSockets and long polling. Some questions presented a specific feature, and I had to explain its functional requirements on both the frontend and backend. Examples include: What data do you get from the user? How would your frontend look? Which method is efficient for transferring data from frontend to backend, and why? How can you store data in a table and in what relational order? They also asked about the backend concerning architecture and feature concept explanation.
