I submitted numerous applications for similar positions on eBay and PayPal's career websites. Subsequently, one of PayPal's internal recruiters contacted me and kindly referred me to this specific position. I then applied.

The interview scheduling process was fast and efficient.

Honestly, before the interview, I was somewhat apprehensive due to some of the employee and interviewee reviews I had read. However, upon arriving onsite, I found the interviewers and front desk staff to be exceptionally nice.

The interviewers posed technical questions related to the skills required for their projects, including:

• C++ concepts and coding
• OOP principles
• Database knowledge

They also asked some very reasonable behavioral questions to assess my ability to cooperate with team members, included a couple of brain teasers, and discussed some of my past projects.

Throughout the process, they were all very professional and polite.

Overall, based on my interview experience, PayPal is a very decent company. Had I not received an offer from another company on the evening of the business day prior to my onsite interview with PayPal, I would have genuinely liked to work in the Gateway Group that interviewed me.

None. They are mostly basic C++ concepts, coding, design, and database questions.
