I applied online for the position of MTS-1 in PayPal Credit (Greater Baltimore Area). I received a HackerRank challenge and a telephonic call, and was later invited for an onsite interview.
The onsite interview was 4 hours long. Initially, they gave me a tour of their office and provided insights about the position and the company.
This was followed by a 45-minute behavioral round, and then a 1.5-hour technical round with three interviewers. I had expected data structure and algorithm questions for the technical round, but none were asked. I enjoyed the technical round because whenever I couldn't answer a question, they provided the correct answer. They maintained a lighthearted atmosphere throughout, which helped relieve stress.
The interview concluded with a casual/technical lunch where I was asked to give a detailed overview of my current project.
Overall, the entire interview process was not as I had expected, nor was it similar to any other interview I've experienced. However, it was a great experience interacting with the team.
Mostly, they asked to describe my current responsibilities in detail.
