Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) Interview Experience

Process

My interview process was slow and unprofessional. It took a month from my application without a final round. Especially after I got the first-round interview, I was told I was selected for the final round and provided my availability. I received no update. It should not be a difficult task to schedule an interview. While waiting for the final round, I was informed that the position was filled internally. I have no issue with the position being filled internally, but it is not ideal to hear that after completing all previous steps. Additionally, I received an email stating I missed an interview for which I never received an invitation.

The result is that I only had the first round, and while waiting for the final round, I learned the position had been filled internally. All of this took a month. As I mentioned, I did not even reach the final round. I wish the process had not been so slow. I received three offers within the same timeframe, and I am confident I would have also had a wonderful experience interviewing with PayPal. I had prioritized PayPal the most simply because it is PayPal.
